They are never logical.
Thats not true, thats like saying feelings put into words(which is what a rant is) just happen all by themselves with no reason. The player experience is something the developers should be closely watching, if they want to have a good game.
By the same bit of logic, ryat, if your family member died and you feel bad and you write about it, there is no logical connection, and there is no justification for doing so. Especially if anger is involved! OMG anger, its so scary!... Please grow your empathy.
Yet anyone who knows this understands that the person doing the writing is just venting their emotional frustrations, which are a sign of hampered enjoyment of the game. Usually there are very strong and valid reasons for this, and the design of the game itself can cause such outbursts. I feel it is very relevant to view rants with the appropriate view that, even if they are one persons opinion, you must also view the real source of why they were so "wronged" and determine if that really is something to be changed or not. Useful feedback for those who have a good understanding of emotional interactions.
Don't use spock as a basis for understanding logic. Feelings actually do have a place and are justified, the more you think about it the more you will know that i'm right.
