Disable novalith autofire

(TEC) Novalith suggestion

Disable novalith autofire

 

When I build a novalith I want to choose when and where it fires. The default is, when novalith finishes being built, it autofires (selects target & fires).

 

I wished that the default behavior was NO autofire. I don't sit there and watch the novalith building, I have other things I am doing...!

Yeah pressing the right mouse button after you get the "structure complete" message and selecting the completed Novalith Cannon by pressing the spacebar once really is a big deal...

auto fire on by default is best in my opinion.

Auto-cast is on by default so the AI uses it, iirc.

You can always mod it to not be autocast...

or invest in a middle finger.

to right click.

not to do that other thing you were just thinking of.

I'd rather have my middle finger free for that other thing rather than disable nova/kostura every time I build one. It used to be this way pre-diplo.

Its really not that hard, considering a) you can jump to them as soon as their complete with space, and b ) there is a specific, set limit, so you only have to do it what, five times total? I know its a tremendous strain and consumes massive amounts of effort, but still.

...Is it just me or does anyone else think the TEC AI should slow down on making these things? Somewhat early in the game they end up making one....then shortly after they have like 3 or 4. It's kinda irritating especially when their auto-cast tends to aim at me more often, I don't even get a chance to protect my planet from them....There's not even a point to try and recolonize. :/

Auxiliary Government/Enforced Loyalty/Enduring Devotion/Shield Generators/Fortification Specialization/Hardened Cities.

Beyond that, you're probably playing against TEC Loyalists which get it earlier than everyone else.
