We all know the Rapture-glorious late game capstone of pre-rebellion Fleets. All in all an outstanding late game vessel. It does however lack flexibility(it pretty much is only for capping off mature frigate fleets, especially with carriers).
Rebellion has however hurt it a bit- the presence of titans makes frigates less of a factor late game(meaning vertigo is slightly less potent). This is doubly true being that carriers that can support your titan/capship fleet from a safe distance where they won't feed the enemy titan will likely become more common(vertigo doesn't hit strikcraft).
Of course It's still a good late game ship, and it's late game definitely shouldn't be buffed-but what about giving it a bit more of an early game. In my book giving a factions an additional possible starting cap-ship is always goo(options make the game more interesting).
Additionally if the Rapture were a good early game capship it could reasonably get to 6 and get dominate when fleets are still smaller when the ability would be at it's best.
Anyway, that's more then enough preamble- in a nutshell my idea was this: What if concentration Aura affected corvettes(at a lower bonus if necessary)? Corvettes are strong enough early that this might make the Rapture a viable starting capship, and frankly with the abysmal survival rate of corvettes in late-game battles this wouldn't really be a buff to the Rapture's late game.
Additionally there wouldn't be too much synergy with The halcyon as the fact that corvettes only fire once per pass like strikecraft means weapon cooldown isn't really applicable for them.
Anyway, thoughts?
[TL;DR: Should the Rapture's concentration Aura be allowed to affect Corvettes(possibly at reduced effects)?]
