It's been real fun all these years, but it's time to go.
Even now it is a struggle to get games going, and I am not even being THAT picky.
So just wanted to say bye to everyone I've played with over the years, and reminisce on all the nerd fun with strat discussion and modding etc...
In particular
Pacov - For community support and putting up with my mod package requests- Fantastic job!
Miriyaka- For all the mod support and putting up with my LUA questions
Ptarth- For all the mod support, and a love for QoTs
Hedgie- For invaluable feedback for my mods, and being a great player to learn stuff from
ZenGod- For having an aggressive style that jives with the way I play- All the games we've played have been fantastic, especially the ones where we took down "The best" tier 1 players.
In1- For being a rable rouser to stir up the status quo and get people thinking about things, even though no-pounce Sedna is fail.
and Synn aka Blackmage- for having a fanatical devotion to QoT!
And of course all the great players who posted replays to learn from and also gamed with me form time to time, like Zex, McShane, Renz, Mith, and Orcun
Cya around, probably in some other games at some point.
Also, what kind of goodbye would this be without a new QoT build.

Explanation
4 shamblers outgun any points you can put into morale, but Shamblers are not exactly robust... so also max their life as much as possible to keep them alive for as long as possible.
This means you take Hauberk of Life, shamblers IV, Entourage III, and even a point of Compost to get that life near 2000 and also a big FU to cheesus crust TB .
Crazy WTFBBQ, Compost Note: The 1st point in compost is pretty close to morale in damage = 8 damage x 4 shamblers x0.5 RoF = 16 DPS to all targets for 1 skill point, Morale is about 20ish DPS to 1 target depending on idols... but compost 1 gives your shamblers 195 life too. Compost II and III are VERY bad, and should never be considered. You should also never consider compost 1 unless you have 4 shamblers and are trying to maximize shambler life in other aspects of your build.
Now some charts to help maximize DPS with the best white damage per gold spent items

Proceed as required getting basic life/mana gear, and upgrading idols for more DPS
Prime Directive: Gold is always a concern to gear DPS while increasing life/mana as fast as possible, so you should be trying to take down towers ASAP.
Misc Exploit
Also do not undervalue the ability to buy and sell Forest band to get base armor on your minions. For 250 gold (buy and sell forest band) you put 200 permanent armor on all your units, because there is a bug that base minion armor is not applied until an armor buff is added. This is an 8% damage reduction, and equates to 1 extra tower this on your minotaurs. That makes all the difference in the world for a fast tower take down.
