Newbie question about running mods

I've never run a mod in Sins before and I was wondering: can you turn the mods on and off? In some games when you mod them you're locked into playing that mod. But does Sins have a way of letting you turn the mod off and playing the regular game (or even running another mod)?

Yes, you can turn mods on or off: Go to Options/Mods and add or remove the mods you have in your mod folder. But when you have already started a game with a certain mod, you have to start a new game if you dont want to play with that mod enabled anymore, because the save file contains data from the mod you started that game with. Hope this answers your question,

Yes, you put all of you mods in a seperate mod folder, which you can then turn on and off at will in the options in the main menu. The expansions even have a feature that allows for multiple mods to be activated at once, though combatibility issues have mostly limited this feature to mods that are specially designed to work that way.
