I need to add something here just because I don't want to start a new post.  I was in a game last night pantheon where i got paired with 2 ai against 3 players.  I'm not sure how the heck that matchup would start that way but it was lame to say the least.  Now normally the ai are bad feeders this I know, but what they did in this game was unexplicable.  I don't know what kind of programming makes the ai do this but here was what it did:

1. ran up to 10 yards from a tower, then TP'd to said tower, they did this at least 4-5 times early game.

2. ran towards an objective, then just stopped and stood still for 10-15 seconds.

3. both AI "teamed up" to stand behind a fort and not attack anything while a creep portal was sending waves of units down to destroy it.

All in all I'd say its likely the ai doesn't take skill points at all, but thats probably not true.  bleh.

... a bad one. They are completly suicidal too.

I had a similar game a few times as Robwild's number 1 point. It usually occurs on crucible I've noticed in Pantheon games. Ai Demigods will run up to the tower nearest towards the 2 flags ( right below their base ) then run 10 yards away from it, stand there for a couple secs, and then run back to that tower. Before finally running down to fight creeps. Sometimes they will teleport to that tower and do the same thing. Also multiple Ai will do it, they take turns.

It seems like they are "random" in the sense of Winamps randomize option for playlists. It appears to be random from different starting points, start at the same point however, and they end up taking the same course as the last time they were at that start point.
