Demigod 1.1 - any new news?

Looking forward to another dev journal update.  I think the last I read was that there will be a more in depth look this week at 1.1.  Any chance we could get some additional details about some of the changes/new features?  Is 1.1 still pretty far from being released?

according to frogboy, there are not really any problems with online custom games atm

pings of +350 with people living in my street are quite normal it seems

People like me really don't care about new heroes or maps. Why should we? We are not even able to have a decent online game without playing a slideshow. (which is not caused by my pc fyi)

checking this board every day, still no news on the "golden patch" which could solve my problems

fyi Stardock, Blizzard communicates with it's community too (on their forums)

In case you haven't noticed, a new journal came out about 20 minutes ago.

hehe... thanks for an on topic reply JagerJack!  Gonna check it out now.

Update - no news that I saw about 1.1 in the dev journal.  Good info about pantheon/skirmish problems, plus a little more detail on who does what... dev, publishers, etc.  Anyway, love hear some news if there's any to be had.  Thanks!

I don't know if you have ever tried programing a game let alone fixing the multiplayer aspect but its not quite as easy as just making a "golden patch".

 

They are doing their best to try and fix the problems, as that is one of the biggest problems stopping people from buying the game, and they will release the patch whenever its done.
