Now, I'm the sort of person that is absolutely paranoid that something I value has been messed with. In this case, that the strategy/units/abilities that I so loved have been stealth-changed and such worries can only be satisfied by a highly-detailed changelog.
Now, obviously I have read all the changelogs that I have found (including the big 1.1 one), and they list some changes, but there seem to be more. In particular, as an Advent player, after a couple games of entrenchment I seem to notice a few things, and I wonder how much is my imagination or how much has been nerfed:
(I'm glossing over all the obvious entrenchment changes, starbases etc, as that's not my concern)
1) Cleansing brilliance seems far less powerful, and take considerably longer to cool down. I seem to recall it being 500 dam/sec, instead of the 250 it currently is. It can't even take out a (admittedly much beefier) drone host now. Again, how was this changed?
2) Destra crusaders seem to do less damage, and be much less robust.
3) Beam Cannons have less hull and armor, although are even cheaper to build. This is presumably because of all the stacking shield stuff going on now. Can someone detail the changes to these for me?
These are the only major things i noticed in my two brief games, but it was enough to make me go "OMG, what else has been changed?".
I know many people may find this post annoying, and if I was following the development of the game since release I would know all these things, but I have not been and only recently bothered with the whole Impulse bit to get the expansion. So, would some people please be kind enough to put my mind at ease and lay out how things have been changed since basic (1.05ish) Sins?
