Need help with update versions

Oh great masters of the SoSE forums I beseech you!  I want to play the new 7DS soooo much, but I don't know how to create a second version of the game that is only updated to 1.05 >.<  If someone could help me out I would be very grateful (I am kind of a computer noob so please include everything you can think of)

If you don't have a cd, you can't. If you do have a cd:

Install game from disk. Download the standalone 1.05 update and patch it. Make a copy of the folder in another location. Then log on Impulse and update to the latest. You will be able to run 1.05 from the copied folder (it will probably reset your settings each time, though) and 1.15/Entrenchment from the actual install.
