A Dozen Demigods?

Atari's Australian website for Demigod list a couple of features, one of which is

"Dozen unique demigods – Choose from nearly a dozen unique demigods each with their own special skills, powers and capabilities. Watch your demigod grow in power as they gain experience, level up, and brush aside hordes of enemy minions"

What's the dealio? Eight isn't a dozen, or nearly a dozen. Is this just Atari getting their facts wrong?

Really oughta be at least that many but at this rate there definitely won't be that many, at least not until considerable months after release.

maybe its a secret leak of the expansion that adds 4 more demigods

During beta 1 they had still not decided how many demigods would be in but the rumors were that there would be 10, which is almost a dozen

Six of one, half a dozen of another... it's still Beta, for what it's worth. Expect changes/new things, and a bit of disinformation.

I think Frogboy said once that GPG had ~4 Demigods that they wanted to add sometime after release, which would bring it up to a dozen.  I assume they will be free, since we were told that there would be a year of free updates.

It all depends how well Demigod sells.  If it sells less than expected, maybe less than supcom?   Then we won't be getting the free updates, free custom map addons, etc.    So only if it bombs....

Yea, I hope to see 12 demigods or maybe even 20 demigods in a year or 2.  Or atleast allow custom maps which users can create their own demigod like dota.
