what about us over in the uk :(

well this game looks awsome, have to say it look a breath of fresh air, there are symply not enough RTS games around these days.went allong to preorder after seeing the vid and really wanted to get in on the beta but they dont support my uk creditcards, AHHHH! so unfair cant preorder cant test beta , poo.

After the initial release of the beta, there'll be a window where you can preorder with paypal, if there are still spots left.

Also, if any big retailers near you sell prepaid Visa/MasterCard cards, you can use those, too.

yeah i says you cant use paypal to preorder things will try other sources like you suggest

You honestly can't make it work? I have an English debit card and it worked fine for me uriel. I just put the details into SD's store and no problems... It should work the same with a credit card.

Is it maestro? Or maybe switch? I think either of those will work but not all debits come with that sadly..

What do you mean "What about us in the uk?" I'm the uk and orderd fine with my credit card. Must just be a problem with your card, not a problem with the uk in general.

Actually, Maestro is basically the new name for Switch. So to answer your question, in effect you have a Switch card. Just select that option and you should be absolutely fine.

If it has a Maestro logo, it *should* work as Mastercard, if you're allowed to do signature payment rather than only PIN transactions.

Well i'm unsure of what i clicked, but i have just a Maestro debit and it worked fine, i'm sorry if thats not the same for you.. Someone did say that there would be a time when you can use paypal, sometime quite close to the Beta, can you confirm/deny Kryo?

Usually when we release a beta, we do have an open window (generally a week or so) in which paypal can be used, and preorders are charged and granted immediately. I can't say as to how that will work out here since we had planned to limit the maximum number of testers, but the limit hasn't been met as yet.

Why not try to contact your bank and order a new cashcard with visa on it?

Im sure it would be the easies way to pre-order the game.

I my self dont have a credit card, but I just pay my dad and he uses his card. (Im only 15)

I dont see the big deal with just using your card instead of paypal. The purchase site is encrypted 2 times over, and it ensured by stardock.

If you dont have a card frind a friend or someoen who does, pay them the amount and they will but it for you.

I dont know how it is in the rest of the EU, but here in sweden almost every bank has some form of "virtual" cashcard. to make internet purchases even more secure (as card numbers and amount of cash on the card is very temporary).

This, however, is only good for games that are out. Not so good at all for preorders
