August 10 is here!

The Political Machine ships

The Political Machine is scheduled to be shipping to retailers today.  Those users who pre-ordered the retail package should be getting theirs shipped out to them shortly.

Those of you with TotalGaming.net should have the 1.01 version of it available later today! Have fun!

Two questions, that I've posted elsewhere.

1. EBgames and Gamestop have pushed the shipping date to the 11th (which I expect will probably slide all the way to next Tuesday, if their past practices are any indication). Why?

2. More curiously, Totalgaming.net has pushed the released date to the 15th. If the game is finished, why isn't it available to download today on time?

1) I can't speak for Ubi Soft but I would conjecture that they did so because they haven't received their boxed units yet (we haven't either).

2) The TotalGaming.net release was not pushed back. If it says the 15th somewhere it's probably said that for a long time. It's already available for downloda on TotalGaming.net.
