Need help with a mini mod as soon as possible!

I want to make a mod out of the "Gameplay.Constants" file where I have changed the distance at which icons hit in for ships/fighters/buildings which I can use online with regular gamers (which don´t have this modified icon draw distance) and activate in mod manager.

How do I do?

Im going out to buy, so I´ll be back in like 1 hour.

I'll do it but I doubt it'll work online. It'd probably be easier just to do it yourself though, throw it along with the rest of the files in /gameinfo/ under your mod name.

OK, ill try that, but is there no way to make it work online without everyone having it (with that I assume that it would work to play multiplayer if everyone had it)?

Ok, I copied all files from the "Gameinfo" and replaced the "gameplay.constants" file with my version, but activating the mod does not change the icons draw distance scale. What have I done wrong, or what am I missing? (

Edit: Ahh, I got it ^^. I just had to copy/create the "Gameinfo" folder into my mod folder, and then put my modified "gameplay.constants" file in there. Thanks Carbon016 .

Now, can anyone please tell me how to make this mod work online with other regular players? The game/fights look so much better now! ^^-*

All the other players will need to have your "mod" unfortunately, otherwise you could tweak anything and have it be unbalanced.
