Ethical Alignment

Unusual crash makes it impossible to select alignment

Experienced an interesting problem yesterday. Finished research on XenoEthics the turn of an autosave, crashed, loaded the autosave. The save loaded without a hitch and XenoEthics was finished in my tech tree, but the ethical alignment selection dialog didn't come back up. Researched Good and Evil, which did not trigger a chance to make an ethical choice.

Since when you reload the game you have Xeno Ethics, it sounds like the tech was marked as finished, the game was saved, then something happened that crashed the game before the popup could come up.

I would recommend upgrading to the newest version of the game (ver 1.2) Unfortunately your saved game will not allow you to choose an alignment. However, if you have a previous autosave file from before the autosave, you should be able to recover.
