An annoyance...

Not so much of a bug - but very annoying in a large empire:

The amount of times I've realised that my colonies have built a lot of constructor ships without me being notified through the gnn reports etc. and since I play with the game fairly zoomed out and gigantic universes it makes it an absolute pain to have to go and look at every colony every turn to make sure they haven't built a ship without me being told...

I've had this happen soo many time now - it killed the last game I was playing in since I had a lot of ships I needed that had been built but I didn't know, and didn't find out until it was too late...

As it appears atm - I can't rely on the gnn reports to keep me up to date with what the shipyards are doing...

I think that there should be an "auto-liftoff" option for built starships just like the one that was there in GalCiv 1. You can simulate it by using a rally point right next to the planet, that's unnecessary micromanagement IMO.

I have seen this as well many times actually. There will be no notification down the right side that ships were built. I *think* it only happens right after loading up a saved game. I'll have to try to spot a pattern.

Go to the game settings menu and turn off "build same ship until discontinued" feature.

So far I have got a ship built event 100% of the time. I also have the "build same ship...." option turned off.

When I need ships, but can't be bothered organising their movements on a one by one basis as they are built, I set a waypoint and tell all my production planets to send ships to it as soon as they are completed.

Extremely useful if you have a widespread empire on one of the larger maps.

Apparently there is an "auto-liftoff"
In the Frogboy's "Do you know you could do this" tread, it says you can right-click on the new ship icon that appears every turn on the right to have them liftoff

Correct. The problem is that the icon doesn't always appear. Thus you don't even know it's been built.
