On epic I have the GalCiv Supernova Insiders Edition and when I transfered to steam I just got the supernova version. What was the Inswer version and can I still use the Insider version on epic?

Insider is a preview, beta test of the upcoming patch. On Steam you can play the insider build by going into the Betas tab under the game properties and select insiders in the list. In theory, both Epic and Steam insider version should be the same.
The "Insider" version of GalCiv Supernova was a special edition that was offered to early adopters and backers of the game on Kickstarter. It included additional content and features that were not available in the standard version of the game.
However, once the game was released on Steam, the "Insider" version was no longer available. The Steam version is the standard version of the game.Therefore, you cannot use the "Insider" version on Steam. If you purchased the standard version on Steam, you will only have access to the standard content. space waves

The insiders on Steam is a preview that those that join it can see the updates and point out goofs usually but not always a few days early.
