So I tacked on a survey module that I found floating around to Stargazer and it was working great. Then I visited a starbase to enjoy a brief respite, but when I left the starbase, it was gone!
It's hard to tell. Do you have a save file for it?
This issue appears to be more than just survey modules disappearing. I used the mineral scanner artifact on a planet to increase it from 1 to 3 minerals and it's back to 1 now. I used the pollution filter to reduce a planet's pollution by 10% and it's back to where it was also, with nothing in the modifiers about any artifact being used.
Lost a movement point boost from either an event or other optional selection like culture not a tech upgrade.
Happened after a restart of a save.
This has been noted before different things like survey modules disappearing after saves/ restart.
