Is the new planet hard to see? This is another problem with the current method of displaying planet labels. Currently, if you move your cursor directly over any part of a planet label, the planet label disappears, allowing you to see what is under the label. However, when you have a number of planets that are very close to each other, it can be a lot like playing Whack-A-Mole, where you are moving your cursor around making the labels disappear and reappear one at a time.
Recommendation 1: Increase the radius around your cursor under which ALL labels disappear.
Recommendation 2: When you move your cursor within the defined area of a sun ALL labels for objects in the sun's area disappear.
I do not know which recommendation is easier to implement or if you have a better idea for solving the visibility issue, but you really need to do something!
