Next Version Tournament
On December 9th (20:00 GMT, 15:00 EST) we are going to host another next_version tournament.
Here are the rules:
All tournament matches are 4p ffas, with a medium map and default settings, with the exception of Masquerade, Reveal Map, and Random Prices, which must be turned on. There will be five rounds. The first three rounds will be on Mars, with the fourth round on Ceres and the fifth on Io, assuming hosts are available.
Signups will initially be limited to 16 with any number of subs (subject to change if interest is high).
All games from each round will be played concurrently, with as many games as are necessary to accommodate signups.
All games will be played on the next_version branch.
As the goal of this tournament is in part to improve OTC’s balance winners are required to submit replays via the tournament’s Discord channel. This will allow us to look over them after the tournament has ended, and will allow community members the chance to provide commentary for the replays if they would like to.
Zultar (myself) will broadcasting and commentating one match from each round. If you're interested in commentating matches, feel free to contact me via Discord prior to the tournament starting.
