Rare Habitable Planets

Hello,

Why there are plenty of habitable planets when option is set to rare? I even reduced all options to rare yet still dozen of habitable planets pop out within my range. My map size is gigantic if that makes any difference. I used to play GC2 with rare settings which worked fine. I can't seem to find much info about this topic on search engines. Any ideas how to nerf it?

Not answering your Q but related to this is that I'm finding *masses* of very high class planets in my insane galaxy suddenly and I don't know why. It doesn't seem to be a mega event either.

What type and size of Galaxy are you playing? Also what are the start and planet count set to? 

Balancing planet count is always a challenge because there are so many moving parts.  Let me know what your settings are so I can reproduce them.

I haven't found this to be the case with the new betas for the Large galaxies I play in.
