is it worth playing now?

Greetings just wondering if the game is worth playing now not played since 1.2 due to constant broken saves and laggy crap.. has the game improvesd to the point of  long term playability or does it still bug out at random?

Its not 100% but imo well worth playing.  Stability and lag (machine dependent) is very much improved, as is game play.  Diplo hasent changed but will in next rel (dec).  Ai is improved

Funny, my system was running the game smoothly in 1.2 and 1.3, and chugs hard in 1.4.

Strange, I assume your comparing identical game settings.  For me and others i know it is much improved

For the first time with 1.4 I think I can say I am finding a satisfactory level of enjoyment. Looking forward to future updates.

I never had much problem with stability, the game has always been fine for me on that level. I suppose it depends on the computer. But the game was too lacking in key elements to keep me hooked. There is still room for improvement but the game is definitely better now than it ever was.
