New Sins of a Solar Empire game?

Is it time to ask for a sequel to the series? prefferably in 64bit and with animations? or just a newer version with some minor adjustments would be nice.

I just want it for Mac so I don't have to run the Windows virus on my Mac.

Well now that Sins of a Dark Age is over, it's certainly possible. Here's hoping!

Would be nice a lot of us invested so much time into this game its time we saw it expand.

Would love to see a Sins 2 with 64bit/multi-core support. I know Ironclad needs some time to digest what happened to Sins of a Dark Age but they need to remember their original hit.

KEEPS SINS ALIVE!

And in RTS/4x mode not a what Sins of a Dark Age was.

End of Ryat's quote

They needed to digest what would happen to it 2-3 years ago when it was clear the MOBA market was saturated and the game was not going to go anywhere.  The sunk costs fallacy is a difficult thing to overcome, but you ignore it at your peril.

Blair Fraser is on the record as saying RTS is a "dying genre," which is quite humorous when juxtaposed with his company's extended foray into a genre whose market might as well be the dictionary definition of "oversaturated."  If RTS is dying of starvation, then MOBA is a bloated heap that has been forcefed to the point where it can no longer stand.  At the very least, the former is still underserved while it's on its way out, while you're unlikely to be able to feed anything else to the latter.  Look at the number of true massive-scale RTS that have come in the wake of Supreme Commander.  I'll list them:

1.  Sins of a Solar Empire

At least another stab at that genre wouldn't have had a swarm of same-ish competitors (most of which have failed - go figure!) to fight past.

It's very sad, but I'll be surprised if Ironclad survives this, to be frank.  It's hard to sink so many years and so much capital into a F2P project that no one plays and come out at the other end with the ability to try it again.

There needs to be a Sins 2, Rebellion did and still does well. its modding comunity is strong and often in multiple mods makes the top 20 on moddb.
