Impulsive & Veteran ?
OK going probably going to sound silly here, but happened to the Impulsive and Veteran Sov Talents...? Have I stuffed my files or did they actually get taken out somewhere along the line and I never noticed ?
Thanks.

Yeah it is, but it's quite possible I haven't used it since FE. It was definitely there at some point, could have been a long time ago though.

Probably removed in LH then, i'm recreating a custom Sov I had in FE... in LH, so that would explain it.
Thanks
Impulsive is given as the Strike Garrison perk at level 3 Fortress. Oops just reread OP about Sov trait, nvm!
Well, I am glad Veteran is gone, because it basically only gave you 10 XP, while new players might assume their Veteran Sov would always stay a level above their 'normal' level.
Veteran is a great playtesting tool, if you are messing with the Paths. You can also mod in a path so you don't have to pick one at level 2, but if you are trying to see if your path will appear properly then Veteran is a quick and easy way to make that happen on turn 1.
There is a potion that adds a level. If you are testing paths, you could just create that potion on the Sovereign you are testing with. Or use one of the + 10 experience items (i think scrolls).
Or, I can just add Veteran to the SelectedAbilityBonusOptions. Works great, happens immediately ingame, and I don't need to pop a potion or whatever to see the effect.
Really, though, the +10 XP thing makes a small difference in the early game, but once you've hit the higher levels, when XP to the next level goes up quite a bit, yeah that's not that big a deal. At that point, the other abilities look much more attractive.
So yeah, I use Veteran all the time (add the tag to the Sov code) for playtesting, but I pretty much never pick it in a 'normal' game. Same for units - there are other abilities that are useful into the mid-late game. Sure, the increased HP from L2 is nice, but again a little patience (a few turns) will get you those anyways. Bonuses to initiative, etc, however, are harder to arrange.

How do you do that..... I only know how to enable LH cheats via Steam properties?
Thanks.
1. Steam Library > FELH > Properties > Create Desktop Shortcut
2. Rename, e.g. LH (Cheat)
3. Right click Shortcut > Properties > Web Document > URL:
4. steam://rungameid/228260//Cheat
You can repeat step #1 to create another shortcut, such as LH (Normal), or you can use the default Steam launcher for the non-cheat version. Note that you will need to undo the Set Launch Options so that the normal version does not use cheat.
