how are the new maps.  Competitive mode useful?

 

hows the balance. VR are still banned?

 

hows the minidumps.  Saw some people dump today...

From what I've heard, MDs and DCs are still bad, update didn't really fix those....

Until I hear word that they've improved, I won't be returning to ICO....so, unfortunately, I can't comment on the balance changes other than that I think they look nice...

Btw, thanks for getting those maps in for us, pbhead...

I've only been on for a few games in the past couple weeks. New competitive maps seem well received. VR still banned by some hosts. ICO still fairly terrible (MDs, DCs, game lobbies unstable and crashing/closing at random, etc.)

No minidumps or similar problems in any of my games.  :grin:

 

 

Things I noticed so far:

 

  • Vasari Rebels allowed.. although clearly on probation. Their Titan is still very very powerful and might need further nerfing in the future. Now with the starbase - hopefully - fixed its power becomes more clear.
  • Advent Loyalists are the new favourite faction for Advent players.
  • You see more people trying out TEC Loyalist.... personaly I think this will be short lived, TEC Rebels still have the upper hand under most circumstances.

 

EDIT: Not everyone has noted the new competive versions of the maps... so keep advertising them!

 

And I love the new maps... I recommend everyone to check them out!
