Nice job on the Fallen Enchantress Manual, Kestral2040! It really does look classic! As Kael said, thanks to you and your team for putting it together (Toby Sarnelle, Kathleen Land, Brian Clair). It's another one of those "little things" that makes the whole package (the game, as well as the Beta process) seem that much cooler ... and a Cut Above ... what we typically see from Stardock's competitors. Congratulations on a job well done !
P.S. Please let us know, in this thread, or where-ever appropriate, when you issue major revisions to the Manual.
Thanks for all the kind words (and that goes for all of you). I'll make sure we let you all know in here whenever it gets updated. I still have some little tweaks I would like to make for it (and corrections).
Quoting heyhellowhatsnew,
I take back my praise. I can't believe you don't have a list of spells included in the manual. /facepalm I want to read about the spells :I
We wanted this too but because of how much things have changed (and often are minorly tweaked for balance still) with spells we didn't want to put something in there that isn't accurate and could quickly be out of date. Also, there are well over 200 spells in the game, which is a TON more content.... and even then, how can you just stop at spells if you go that far? I would want all the Improvements and Technology and probably even equipment... traits? champions? you get into a place where we are copying down the in game Hiergamenon (which is easier to use than a PDF).
I also looked into getting some nice layouts of trait and improvement feedback in there based on a UI feature we are hoping to implement in a future patch, but it didn't fit without being interactive.
