Titan level after death a game option pls.

Hullo,

I wanted to ask to the option top toggle on or off the level kept after a titan dies.  I play single player only but I like this game to be challenging.

We can take cruel easy, if titan keep their level their ain't even a scare of breaking it... (I admit it puts the advent one under the bar since it's stupid ultimate is a dying wish but I don;t play them anyway...)

Cheers.

I suggest you PM a dev, or one of the trusted testers...I advice this because:

  1. The Devs probably won't see this thread
  2. A lot of people have asked for this...it is a serious suggestion and an extremely controversial game balance decision...

Yarlen locked Quar's thread in ~3min.

I checked if there's SD employee under my desk.

I saw that, and considering how quickly another one of his threads was locked, I have a feeling he's flagged...

The only issue really with his thread was that the problem is PC gamer, but he blames Stardock...it may be a developer's fault for having a problematic game, but it is the reviewer's fault for giving a questionable review...

Qu4r pointed the finger at the wrong person, but I hardly find that surprising given his history with the devs and the state of the game thus far...it's hard not to be all pissy and have your panties in a knot when you genuinely care about the state of the game yet know no dev is going to listen to you...

Although I agree with you and Qu4r that the review done by PCGamer was mediocre at best, they did review a newer version of the game, which we haven't even played yet. So who are you to say the game is still wrecked and stuttery as the dev's may have actually fixed this already...

I think it is reasonable to assume that the game is stable; if Starclad says a bug is fixed, then most likely it is fixed...that is not the part of the review that bothered me...

"Outside of the lack of a singleplayer campaign, about the only criticism that could be levelled at Rebellion is that it’s not much of a looker anymore."

I will grant that the reviewers probably played a newer version...even still, I seriously doubt the game balance is in great shape (though I'd love to be wrong)...the devs clearly were aware of the most glaring balance issues and I am sure they addressed them...however, whether they were addressed adequately has yet to be seen (change does not necessarily imply improvement)...furthermore, some potentially OP or UP elements were completely overshadowed by jumping orkies and nano leach, and the devs (even if they were game balance gods) can't fix things they aren't aware of...

In any case, there are still some things inherited from original sins I'm not very happy with, so I'll probably always be complaining no matter what they do with the rebellion content...in general I find that reviewers don't tend to be good at reviewing game balance, mainly because many balance issues take lots of experience to even notice...

just get rid titans retaining levels altogether.  Perhaps the advent have something that lets them buy titan levels to 6, while others can only go to 3 or 4.
