Well, I've been thinking a little... I'd go by:
# Training the caps to lv. 6, then place an starbase (with lv. 2 Self-Destruct!
) at the edge of your gravity well. (about the same position as the Advent's)
# Trick the AI by moving your fleet to your other world, in a position ready to jump back.
# Once the AI sends his fleet to your world, bring in your caps at the edge of the gravity well (To get more XP) and then, before enemy shield migration gets too high, you self destruct the SB.
(This would leave only some damaged caps, which your own caps easily can handle)
# Then you go straight to his world, (using an akkan with Armestice would be wise) get the ogrovs in position, and nuke the hell out of that undefended SB!
Of course, this involves the sacrifice of 1 (2 if you have to schuttle your SB to build the new one) starbases, but, I'd say It's a safe bet, unless the AI attacks before it's constructed & upgraded. If you pull it off, the enemy fleet should pop like... ehhh... Popcorns!
