Pacov and Jongalt's Live Demigod Video Streams

Hey fellas,

I posted a link to this in the tourney rules and registration thread, but I figured it might be best if I create a thread for it so its easier to find on the fly.  Some of you already know this, but I've been using xfire to live broadcast several of my games.  Originally, I intended to just use this for the tournament, but a few people have indicated that they like watching the streams, so I'll be broadcasting more frequently.  One of the cool things about the live stream is that you can hear the audio from our ventrilo channel, so if we are gibber jabbering or talking strategy, you get to listen in.  I'm typically broadcasting sometime between 7PM-1AM EST.  As I think of it, I'll pop a reply to this thread if I'm going to start broadcasting.

Anyway, please use the link below to view the live stream.  I'll likely be doing some live commentary for a few of the tournament games using this link as well.

Jongalt also started streaming recently - he's a link to his video stream:

Oh, it is great that you are doing that pacov. It's like watching the soccer match of the team that i support(Galatasaray) but on top of it, players are my friends. Good matches like yesterday's is quite a treat.

Hi error.  I believe it is possible to save the streams.  I'll look into doing that the next time I do some streaming (sometime in the next few days or so).

That said, there are a few replay commentaries out there (1 I made and several rawrrr made) which are fun to watch and available now.

Here's the one I completed - http://forums.impulsedriven.com/398449

Here are rawrr's - http://forums.impulsedriven.com/398153

I enjoyed the stream. gg guys!

Thanks again, jon for being another guy streaming video.  I think at the very least a few of us enjoy matching the tourney matches.  You should have seen me and mcshane.   I setup vent so I could listen into each channel and I was giving him a blow by blow.  This saves me some trouble.

No problem! it was cool being able to look up and see people watching.  Most of the time there were 4 people viewing and it got as high as 6.

How was the clarity on your end?  Broken mentioned that the game looked a bit laggy - which it was (a little bit) but it wasnt toooo bad.

McShane couldn't watch the game?

I'll definitely broadcast more in the future as well.

Yea I was watching, he's talking about your first game.  For that one I was just listening to you guys and Pacov was listening to both teams so we were sitting there trying to piece together what was happening through what you guys were saying lol.  The stream on the second game was very helpful, saved Pacov a lot of typing to report what Trouser's team was up to.

You know what else is creepy?  Just minding your own business in Vent and all of a sudden someone says in a whisper:

"You cannot defeat the Zen Gaaawwwd!"

Sorry about not putting up a live stream last night - slipped my mind.  I'll have them up for future games, of course.
