I am so terrible, I lose games I'm not even in.

Was checking my games list recently, and noticed a game I hadn't recalled the name for, so I clicked on it...

 

THIS is what I found. Obviously it was a 2v2... but not one that I (or even Magla) had participated in. It saddens me to know that I let my team down, apparantly, and that the 4 of us were unable to win over the other 2... but geez.

I don't even understand how this kind of error gets made.  Isn't gamestate reported at the end of the game?  How did my name even get in there?

If you leave or get kicked from custom game lobby, sometime the game forgets to remove you from the list of players. The phantom players show up in the Demigod server stats and stuff so people will see more players in the game than actually are.

That's insane... shouldn't it check when the 'start game' button is hit who the players are, not when they just join a chat room? Guh.

 

Anyone know a way to avoid this?  I don't *really* pay close attention to my stats, but this is just so negative to me. I mean, if I lose I'll man up about it, but this is like getting detention for something you didn't do.

Try raising a ticket on the Stardock website, so we can be sure they know about it.

Its happened many of times, also ive lost games according to the stats where i won them, again happens far to often, GPG FTW!!!!

They should just remove losses that are odd cases like that.  It happens to everyone.
