Consolidated list of bugs in 1.19

In an effort to have to read less I am asking people to please post all found bugs in version 1.19 in this thread please.

Please keep posts to reporting bugs only. I don't want to have to sift through a bunch of posts discussing bugs, or whether something is a bug or not, or how much you hate that bug too. The less reading I have to do the easier it is for me to bring bugs to the attention of the proper people and the higher the chance they might get fixed for 1.2.

i actually tried it in singleplayer also, but didnt happen, i guess it has something to do with online packets being sent and received, all 5 times it has happened to me it has been exactly when i press my mouse button

i re-read my original post, and i noticed i didnt mention this dosnt happen every time i issue an command with demigod and minions selected, it usually happens when there is a lot going on at the same time, so maybe issuing an attack command while something else happens?

 

i have played about 30 games since the update, not every game as a general, and it has happened 5 times, and every time later into the game when stuff is happening

 

also one time it wasnt an attack command, it was a shop command, but i still had both minions and oak selected

Not sure if this is a bug or not but here it goes:

 

was playing as erebus on cataract. Forces of light. I ran up to the HP flag side of hte map, proceeded to attack a regulus until he was fleeing. He had less than 1 hit of health left, erebus began to autoattack the towers at the cooldown flag that reg was standing next to instead of dealing the final blow. The guy just let his reg sit there for whatever reason, and after mashing on right click for a few seconds, my erebus finally dealt the final blow.

 

Thoughts?

I apologize if this has been mentioned.

 

Replays stop recording when a player leaves the game. When the replay is played it stops at the point where the first player left regardless of how long thereafter the game continued.

Just tried to repro this and was unable to. You sure you weren't watching the replay saved from the person that quit?

Hello!

I have found an UB bug.

When you spit, then chase for the fould grasp (select and target) and they are out of reach, UB chases. Then your spit cooldown is up, so you select spit and target, and nothing!

What is happening is the beast coninues on his foul grasp command, and the spit command will not cancel this, so you need to click elsewhere on the map, at which point he turns around and enemy gets away. I died a couple of times today because I was frequently smashing the 1 key and targeting and UB will not goddamn spit.... then runs into enemies and foul grasp all at the wrong time.

 

Same happens if you chase for foul grasp, then select spit for a DIFFERENT target. It just seems to queue the spit, rather than cancel foul and spit.

 

 

Oh, and a question, WHAT is this alt+move for an agressive move? Does it do anything? If not why is it in the 'tips' on game load screen.

With an attack move the Demigod will attack any units it encounters while going to the destination. This way you don't have to manually aassign targets for attacking a line of different creeps for example. However it's bugged. Sometimes the Demigod will just walk straight to the destination after killing the first unit while doing an attack move.

Sounds exactly like the autoattack bug for generals (or at least the AA bug for QoT), only there it happens when you try to attack an enemy Demigod. I mean that the "attack move" is used when attacking an enemy Demigod instead of "just attack the Demigod".

 

Minor bug:

While Erebus is in Mist you can target him with support skills (Heal, Shield, Bramble Shield) but the skills do not affect him.

Hm? What do you mean, the Attack Move itself is a feature, not a bug. The Demigod going to the destination after killing one unit instead of attacking the next unit is a bug.

I have had this happen intermitently (it doesn't seem very repeatable) to me a couple of times online. Generally very annoying bug... I've had a few games where I had to finish out a few games as QoT without my just purchased lvl4 idols because of the grey out. Re-selling and rebuying will not fix the issue, only a death seems to reset it, at least in my experience.

Oh. Whoah. Those numbers have ALWAYS been visible all the time for me ever since the beta. It's only since 1.19 that I have to mouse over the bars to be able to see them. I really like them being visible all the time so I can see the exact values (since adding hp/mana items makes the visible depletedness of the bars a relative and inexact indicator), and I'd rather not have to move my pointer from the thick of a battle just to glance at the numbers. Have they always been present (till now) for anyone else?

I don't think I saw this mentioned yet, but Monk idol minions can get stuck 'inside' your own citadel, and the only way to free them is to either upgrade the idol, die, or teleport. I don't have a replay of it, I don't think, but I'll try to get one if I remember.

Another unclean beast bug(ish):

If you are moving to a destination and you press "3" to turn on ooze, it cancels the move command and you come to a halt. I turn on ooze on the aproach of enemy (as you do) and need to reclick to start moving again (like the old wand of speed bug)

Maybe this is intentional, but I think beast should keep moving when ooze is turned on.

Another bug today with Victory and awards screen.

I played a game with oo7_warhammer and won. He had 1 death. I had 0 deaths. BUT when the victory screen came up (after concede) it said he had 2 deaths and I had 1.

You can actually summon the idols by going back into the buy screen and left clicking on the icon to summon instead of right clicking to sale them. Sucks because you can only summon them at the buy shop, but at least you didn't completely waste your 3k worth of priests :|

Fix the Invalide gamestate bug.

This bug triggers after the "Forces of Light/Dark controls the map" message.

It is 99,9% reproduceable on cataract.

Queen of Thorns closed/open mode bug:

QoT has a slightly decreased attack speed in closed mode. When going from closed to open mode the decreased attack speed stays (until level up).

You would "kill two birds with one stone" if you would simply remove this effect because it would be a very small buff for QoT who really needs it. Her dps with level 20 would go from 271dps to 280dps; in comparison the other Demigod dps at level 20 (no items, no skills): Ereb: 291; UB: 302; Sedna: 291; Oak: 290; Regulus 292; Rook: 327; TB: 292.

 

Can you also please fix the autoattack bug?

When clicking on an enemy Demigod outside her range she moves towards him but stops and attacks if any targets get in range and thus does not chase the enemy Demigod anymore.

 

No bug, more of a question:

QoT also gets an 10% armor "bonus" when in closed mode. At level 1 the bonus is 330/10=33 armor which equates to +1% damage reduction. At level 20 the bonus is 805/10 = 85 armor which equates to +1,8% damage reduction. Even with +armor items this bonus is virtually nothing. Was this really intended this way?

The other two closed mode boni (+50% mana regen; +10 health per second) are really nice and, frankly, the only reason she is somewhat playable at all.

Minions:

For the 1.19 release the minion turning speed has been decreased when the player selects the minions and directs them to move/attack.  Unfortunately the minion turning speed has not been reduced for when they automove (ie. without player input.)

My preferred solution would be to disable all auto attack / move features on minions :)

This has been coming up more and more often lately.  What will happen is one person drops another person (or one person drops two people).  What used to happen is then both of them would instantly drop, ejecting eachother.  Now, instead, you get stuck on the connectivity screen until one of them either pulls the plug or ctrl-alt-deletes.  If it's one person ejecting two others, either both of them or the one person ejecting them has to bail, and then the game resumes.

Only movement commands will cancel Foul Grasp. This becomes an issue when you try to spit another target and UB continues to attempt to rush up into melee range for the grasp until you have given an alternate move command. This is also an issue when you want to use say a universal gadget instead of a stun if you previously issues a stun command while out of range.

This is just a display bug. The actual attack speed is fine. The closed weapon is set as the primary weapon and this is the one that is presented on the tooltip display.

The attack after using an ability issue should be fixed.

The using an ability while another ability is in progress thing is going to require a bit more work. The problem is that I believe the system is working as intended. You issue an order to cast an ability, your hero obliges by chasing down the target until it is in range, you click another ability and it gets added to the queue. I think the issue is the inability to cancel an ability without having to give a move order or something. Any thoughts?
