Demi Gods AI need s vast improvments

Hi I guess this is one for the Devs GPG. IS there any plans to over haul the Demi Gods AI especially in multiplayer. I often find an even game falls over when 1 player leaves and is replaced with an AI side kick or opponent. Most of the time it's like they would be better if they weren't there.

I have witnessed constent problems with them in Single and Multiplayer games.

Problems such as They stand in the open and just let you shoot them, only moving when there health is 2 low to escape.

Such as they stand near an enemy flag. Not close enough to cap then just walk off.

They often don't help in upgrading the citadel. This is also true of most players though.

They constantly chase enemies deep into hostile territory with no hope of a kill and die.

They get stuck on corners and stand there for ages before moving off. But who hasn't gotten stuck on a corner at some point.

Just my observations.

Anyone agree or disagree?

I have never experienced any of those problems and I play against the AI nightly, though I am always playing on nightmare.

That isn't to say they don't need improvements, but I've not seen one of those issues.

I think it did get some vast improvements since release. I played one Pantheon match were I forgot one of the players was AI. AI will never be perfect compared to a real person, but they have made progress.

You may want to visit an optician... The Nightmare AI is a bit more cauteous than the Easy AI, but otherwise it's just as inept at playing Demigod. The difficulty difference has almost nothing to do with how it plays, it's how much it cheats. Same reason it's no solution to replace dropped players with a Nightmare AI, at least not in 3v3 or smaller games. It generates way, way too much gold.

The AI isn't great but I don't get 'these' problems when playing Hard or Nightmare.

With the last patch, the AI seems to be playing much more conservatively with its health and I hardly ever see it just standing around unless it's capping a flag.

As for citadel upgrades, in my experience, the AI spends more on them than most players and honestly, I'd rather they didn't.  Many of the upgrades are practically useless anyway.

I suppose it's all subjective in the end. I truthfully don't think the AI is that great. Hard and nightmare mode don't make it smarter they just give it more money etc.

And if the comment about needing glasses was aimed at me. I have an eye test on Tuesday so we'll see :D

Actually they seem to spend all their money on citadel upgrades, especially PRIESTS.

I'd just like to request that all levels of Demigods--easy, normal, hard, nightmare--use the same AI code, and then differentiate them in other ways, probably gold and experience bonuses (or nerfs), possibly giving them extra damage or defenses if needed.  "Normal" should be no bonuses and no nerfs, and the best AI the designers can come up with.

I play against the AI a good bit... there are still alot of improvement that can be made.  Besides suiciding into towers/not knowing when to back out of a fight... I see AI Demigod just standing around not doing anything a lot of the time.

The ai is not good enough to play ai alone and have fun. ( my opinion )

I only play against Nightmare AI and have experienced these issues. I've had friendly AI just stand in the middle of nowhere, full health, doing absolutely nothing while eveyrone else gained 2 levels (not exaggerating). It only finally started moving when an enemy approached. And no, it was not near any action so that it could get xp from dying grunts.

Enemy AI also constantly chases much farther into the base than they should, resulting in triple smites against them.
