Election Day is Almost Upon Us - Will you be elected?

If you have updated the game, you may have noticed that there are "achievements."


One of the achievements is to win a game on Election Day.  That's tomorrow!

Be sure to play so you don't miss your chance to get this elusive achievement!

I Updated my game today 11/4/08.

Where are the achievements exactually?

 I found it, but when i won i didn't give me the achievement.

Do I need to play it online?

You need to play on-line.  From the full version, click on the multiplayer and sign in with your Impulse Account, create a game, then when you get to the game lobby, check the AI opponent checkbox and you can choose an AI opponent. 

From the Express version, it's much the same except that it's just the play button.

Still when i won it didn't give it to me.

Also exactly how do you download cadidates off the web into your game?
Download ans save them to your PC then double click on them.

Make sure you are running the latest update of the full game.  TPM: Express doesn't support custom candidates.

I played Multiplayer online vs AI and won.  No 11/2 achievement.  I then noticed Vista was blocking in the background, so I allowed.  I played again and lost, but got the Pop vote achievement, then won again, got several more achievements, but still not 11/2.

I noticed after winning on the 4th that the achievement is for the second.  While it would be nice if it were on Election Day itself, I can understand how that got neglected, given that it's never exactly the same, and possibly more to the point would only give people one chance per four years to get that achievement.

I guess I'll be waiting until November 2nd, 2009 to get it.

We need to elect a candidate that will reduce the government spending.  We are spending to much money and the US is going further into debt.  Its time for a change, we need someone who works for the people. reverse cell phone lookup
