When a world is first colonized does your luck score affect the number and quality of bonus tiles i.e. research etc?
I don't think so. I think the bonus tiles are built into the map when it is created. The only luck is outside of the game, meaning if you are lucky enough to find them.
The only thing it's known to do is up the minimum damage done by your ships.
I think that it does applied to the planet quality of bonus tiles. Beacuse I was testing it with a 500%+ Luck and there it is bonus tiles.
I've read some claims around here that Luck also increases your chances of getting anomaly cash. Given the name of the ability, I kind of like the fact that there is little to no authoritative explanation of it.
