Remake of what movie.

If there was a remake of any movie what movie would it be?

I think Damnation Alley because I was watching this with my grandfather yesterday and i thought it was both weird and scary. Plus that Landmaster was kickass. With today's tech, Damnation Alley would do great.

I'm generaly not in favour of remaking movies. The only reasons to do so would be if the movie had great potential in terms of ideas and/or script, but the finished product is hampered by bad directing or acting or otherwise.

I suppose I'd like to see those new Star wars movies redone, to make them more in line with the old movies and, well, not suck. That would of course require throwing out absolutely everything those movies did - including the script - and keep George Lucas from touching the project. It is also, of course, not going to happen.

I personally think that it would be better as a limited run television series, that way things could be fleshed out a bit more. I also kinda liked the movie, sure it's nothing like the book but it had it's own campy charm.

Starship troopers is a good movie if it's not taken to be well modeled after the book. The book is actually kind of depressing since the bugs are basically kicking the humans' asses. I enjoyed both, but I read the book after so maybe that's why I still like the movie. That and Denise Richards was sooo hot back in the day, before she got violated by that idiot hooker-banger charlie sheen.

Well, we have not been able to get rid of cockroaches and termites, and not for lack of trying.

I hate movies and series that Disrespect the authors of the books they purport to be based on.

Perfect example is Beastmaster, both movies and series. The only thing that was by the book, was the title.
