The Seven New Wonders of the World!

Last year I wrote about the voting to choose the "7 New Wonders of the World" http://wellness-serenity.joeuser.com/article/157048. I promised to follow up so here it is!
The vote is in, has been in since the very next day in fact! There were 100 Million votes, that's right, One Hundred Million people voted! How awesome is that?!
The only surviving item from the original list is the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt: The pyramids were built as tombs for pharaohs 4,500 years ago.
Without further ado, here are the elected Seven Wonders of the World: A note there is no rank to the listing, that means none has first, second or third place, they are just random!
1) The Great Wall of China
2) Petra, Jordan: This ancient city in southwestern Jordan, built on a terrace around Wadi Musa, or Valley of Moses
3) Christ Redeemer Statue, Brazil
4) Machu Picchu, Peru: Built by the Incan Empire in the 15th century, Machu Picchu's walls, palaces, temples and dwellings are perched in the clouds at 8,000 feet above sea level in the Andes.
5) Pyramid at Chichen Itza, Mexico
6) Colosseum, Italy
7) Taj Mahal, India
The Statue of Liberty is amongst the finalists that were being considered!
