Resource inbalance

Can we get this fixed in a patch or something?

Everyone else ive talked to is constantly selling crystal/metal because they need more credits. You need credits for everything....and they seem to be so hard to get. I would like credit income to be increased...and material income decreased(to keep the balance). I just spend so much time selling on the black market...and its annoying. Agreed?

Nope.

You can get: trade ports, culture, cost lowering tecs, and population upgrades to raise your income substantually. Also depends on what type of map and settings you are using.

Wow, depends on how you play i guess, for me it's usually more buying than selling (except for long games on big maps, with a big trade network you're always buying)

I have always got the credits, but never one of the resources. Lowering them would suck.

This is probably a stupid thing to ask, but can't you also make multiple trade ports per planet? It never occurred to me until someone mentioned it in another thread, since in every other 4X I've played you can only build one of something on each planet.

So... yeah, research colony size improvements and trade ship cargo capacity. Also, I didn't realize this until my 5th or 6th game, but culture is EXTREMELY important once your empire begins to expand. If you've got a planet more than a few jumps from your homeworld, its income begins to drop dramatically! If you build lots of culture stations, the loyalty goes up and instead of getting 0.2 of metal you might get 0.6.

If you had 5 or 6 trade stations on your main planets, you'd have a juggernaut economy.

Yeah, multiple trade ports/refiniers do stack. Especially useful on planets that have some kind of trade incom +% trait. Remember one I had 3 trade port's on... was making more than my homeworld was in taxes lol. Kalanite deposits I think that trait was... or it might have had Kalanite and spice, don't remember, but it was in my longest trade route and all that and was just spectacular cash income. Would've built more trade ports but needed some frigate factories there too (bit strategic importance).
