Annoying graphical glitch.

One of the altarian designs I was using has that engine "flare" that never works coming from like a whole ships height above the entire ship. So in the battlemap all these ships i build has things that look like some kind of ghost hovering above the ship. It seems that these "flares" are broken.

I usually just turn them off but why even give an option to turn them off when they dont work in the first place? Why not just remove it?

I noticed this happens on a few other designs as well.
