Yeah, cloaking is kinda busted right now. Sensors only help you see stuff on the map, they don’t actually reveal ships once the shooting starts, so piling on Titanic Eyes won’t fix it. I banged my head against the same thing for a while.
The only thing that worked for me was rushing the counter-cloak techs (can’t remember the exact name, but it unlocks a special module you can slap on a ship). Without that, you’re basically helpless in battles. Feels really off-balance tbh, since the AI loves spamming cloaked fleets.
By the way, this whole “hidden mechanics” thing kinda reminds me of how some mobile apps handle restricted or region-based content. For example, protiktok18 offers access to TikTok 18, which lets users watch and share videos that aren’t usually available on the regular TikTok app. It’s designed more for adults and has fewer content restrictions, though it’s best used responsibly and from trusted sources only.
I still play, but I kinda avoid matches where cloaking is in heavy use because it just sucks the fun out. Hoping Stardock patches it soon.
