Hello everyone, I know this is probably 2 or 3 years too late, or not. I was just wondering if i could get some feedback for what has become for me lately a mental bugaboo with what is an awsome game title and it is in fact my first introduction to Ashes and tower defense games. First, the game runs just fine for me as is, no trouble as far as its main game mode. No problems also with the map editor, its much more stable than Ashes's editor and so fasr no crashes. But I ve endeavored to try to make a custom mission from scratch, and i have completed scripting a scenario which iam pretty sure after going over it many times and checking every line of script for errors, that there are none. If they are there, i didint see them and the Microsoft Edge browser that all my xml files open up in usually doesnt display any errors if there arent any. At this point I suspect that my map is causing my crashes, most likely because i didnt put it together correctly. I ve made maps for Ashes and got my first one to work, but Siege is a different game and yes ive gone through the Modding Tutorial for the game but, and im sorry to say this, the part on making the maps for the game has not been enough to help me make one that has worked yet. I just dont have a good working idea of what makes a custom map in this game that wont crash because of any errors or flaws that i may have unknowingly put into it. Although i have looked at two or three of the maps from the campaign in the editor and am slowly figuring out the basics of whats needed. I wanted to know if there are any hard and fast tips of what a map in Siege needs to be viable ( assuming that the scenario works and is sound, and there are no other issues with the map or the game). I also would just like to know if i you know of any players or anyone at the company who was able to get a "from scratch custom mission" to work at all. Or at least if there are any bugs that were not addressed before the game recieved its final update that could be causing this. I would really love to be able to try and get a mission made but if its not possible , or theres not a whole lot that can be done, then I fully understand.
And I utterly appreciate the time you have taken to read this and i am grateful for any assistance or feed back you have.
Thankyou so much, Shaun H.
