Hello been playing mostly TEC and Vasari as advent seem to be underpowered with their inability to scale well from planets/system sizes(TEC have heavy defense to slow down pushes + high speed ships in culture. Vasari get phase gates to jump anywhere. Advent can go to their home planet....? Advent also have their unity mechanic completely nullified by a starbase)
I tend to play on longer larger scale games sometimes with multiple system. I noticed some missing announcements 1 had along with new announcements that seemed helpful at first but quickly became a hinderance.
First off is in SIns 1 when a hostile faction started a jump to one of your planets it would be announced that an enemy is on the way assuming the player could detect the ships. Now it only announces when the ships have already arrived in the gravity well leaving no time to react/reinforce/rotate defenses. I would like to know when a threat is coming instead of attempting to react to an attack already in progress.
The second issues is TEC specific as both races have raiders and traders. Every time a raid of ai ships starts from primacy culture if the planet has a phase inhibiter the game will announce it for every ship that spawned in that gravity well. When primacy culture gets going you could have culture touching many different enemy systems at once leading to the game announcing our fleet is trapped by a phase inhibitor 30 times per raid per planet i.e if culture is on 6 enemies the announcer will announce this 180 times which became repetitive very quickly as the entirety of the notice bar was just phase inhibitors. I am unsure if this was locking me out of auctions or not but I did stop noticing them popping up anymore when this started happening. It could be I was so focused on ignoring all game announcements that I also ignored the minor factions popped up.
