Hello guys, thanks for the awesome game!
One of the most impressive parts of Sins2 is the space battles. They are gorgeous to look at! However, the sound part, although not lacking in any way, does not add that much to the ongoing drama of the fight.
I would suggest you guys to add some kind of combat chatter. There is already some kind of this, like for example, when a capital ship is taking damage, there's an auditory announcement about its shields or armor dropping to 0. That's cool, I was thinking that there could be an expansion of that.
From calm, stern orders from the capital ships all the way down to fighter pilot frantically shouting in code words, the constant chatter would really add to the immersion imho! It doesn't have to make much sense or follow the events of the fight, just by being there would be enough to highlight that whatever's going on there involves living beings!
Of course, that should follow the sound effect distance. If you are not close enough to hear the battle, this combat speech should not be audible either. And, since I am sure a lot of people might find that annoying, a setting to turn it off, or reduce it's frequency?
Anyways, that's what I wanted to suggest, kudos again for the game!
