Stuck on Event - No Options

Just bought the game last night, played about an hour then restarted a new game. After turn 3 where the earth report event pops up about alien life it has no options to select. I've restarted the game 5x now and it still shows no options and cannot progress through the game at all.

Thank you for playing GalCiv4! I'm so sorry you ran into this issue on your first playthrough. I've made a note to look into this and was wondering if you could provide the save file that this issue occurred in so I can review it directly?

Hi just to follow up, I was able to test the event on my local build of the 2.3 update that is coming out later today and had no issue seeing the event options. As such, your local save file would be really helpful in finding out more about why it didn't work for you.
