Now the time has come to bring it all together. Today we are announcing the new official Stardock discord server. Unlike our existing servers, each of which is based around a single game/series, this server is for all our games, past, present and future!
We have come a long way growing our communities on discord. Personally, it was a big reason for how I became a part of this all and have enjoyed every minute of it. Discord allows us to communicate directly with all you, getting immediate feedback on what we are doing right and what we are doing wrong. It also creates a space for fans of our games to meet, arrange games, work on their own creations and so much more.
When you join the server be sure to go to the roles assignment channel where you can tell us which games you are interested in / play, as well as refine your personal notification settings. We plan on continuing to evolve this new server as the community grows. Some of these improvements will make their way to our older servers too.

Q: "But why make another server?"
A: When Stardock started using Discord everything grew organically. In fact, two of our four official public servers started out as community run. This was all exciting and we are very grateful to our amazing community, or communities, who have come with us onto Discord.
However, it can be a little difficult to maintain multiple servers with more than a thousand members each. We do not always have something new coming out each month for each of our games and because of this, we thought it better to do what some others have done and created a single unifying server.
This new server is for all of the games that we develop and/or publish. Think of it kind of like our flagship discord server, where we are on there every day and have something new to talk about.
Q: “Will the old servers be shut down?”
A: The short answer is no the old servers are not going anywhere.
Our existing 4 official servers are each based around significant games for us and we know our fans love them for the multiple channels and areas where they can discuss and share.
We are also talking with discord staff about potentially some options but until something changes on their end we will not risk disrupting anything by shutting the old servers down.
Q: “What is different about the new server?”
A: In the Stardock.net server we have added some fancy new features. Most notably you can now select if you want to receive notifications about upcoming updates/games, get looking for game pings, be notified of upcoming events and more!
You will also see channels for Stardock games that do not have their own independent server.
