First of all I love the game.
1. Lets talk about cities. Now the Yor population wise they probably went from the worst to the best, but what they did to organics where you only get aflat rate of food. I liked farming better in the base game. Please give us a way to have 0.1 food per turn. I don't see the Slyne having enough of a disadvantage to warrant the food where you only a limited amount every time you build agriculture. here. Keep it global.
2. Bees eat pollen, so could the Thalan; though this would warrant a balance pass to increase the epitheus pollen frequency. Another solution here instead would to always have one on thala.
3. What I would have done tech wise if I thought it was becoming to imbalance; instead of getting rid of them I would have made the abilities the same until I could of figured it out. Instead you got rid of the specialised techs. Please respecialize the tech trees. Abilities was a good idea if it causes differentiation. currently it is close to the same. Making the other way appear more specialized with different species.
4. I would just have had more race types even with the base species explaining that we are adding a new element; also I would have race types that are not on the game in the custom civilization to choose from.
5. I think that the hubs need a new pass on proof reading. Also; I liked having different hubs for different resources like in the base game. If starting out with hubs is why we don't have enough buildings for adjancency's with most construction types including resources; then can we go back to starting out with buildings first again. It is irritating getting an adjancency with a resource with several spaces around it, but not being able to use them. In two you had to research the fusion for I think 10 percent, then you researche the anti matter power plant for 25 percent, and the quantum power plant for 50 percent. Maybe going back to tech levels for hubs we can curve things where we could have enough buildings, so as to not feel cheated when you get a good resource, and no adjancencies.
