Recent patches?

There has been a patch to the game concurrent with the release of the Crusade expansion, although I don't have the Crusade expansion (yet).

Have there been any changes to the "vanilla" GC3 that we should know about? I haven't been able to find any answers through all the Crusade marketing push.

Invasion and StarbaseModule xmls got updated on the 5/5/17 along with the CosmeticShipComponent xmls. Couldnt say what got changed in them though.

I fully agree with the first post!

The gog.com version installers (the base game and all DLCs) have been updated to 2.1 one day after the official release of the Crusade DLC here at stardock and steam.

Sadly no one there (or here) bothered to give us the usual change log this time - it really seems everyone is now hyping/pushing Crusade sales (which is not bad but still extremly buggy so that after two games with more than 200 turns I have decided to rather wait for the next patch). Where are the times when we received a detailed list of changes like for patch 1.9? This...

is what I would have expected from stardock when they release a new patch!

Perhaps they (stardock) are too ashamed to let us know how few changes there were to the vanilla game and that they still have not addressed long term bugs (like the impossibility to upgrade ships with one-time precursor components) or long term requests like the possibility to disable auto upgrades on the planet screen for all planets...
