I've got version 2.0 and have had two different games that will crash to desktop at about same turn 35 -36.
They both are on an insane map with 63 AI players (Minor and Major) and yes some minor mods.
The mods Include increased ship mass and starbases that can build multiple types of rings on one starbase.
Along with a modd to increase total planets and total habitable planets.
I have subscribed to multiple factions from the steam workshop also.
I have a save game that allows the crash to happen at the same time every try.

I have tried to kill player 63. I have removed the modds, and still crashes. I have even uninstalled the game and reinstalled.
Anybody got and any ideas that might help me out?
If it would help I could send the savegame and the debug.err to anyone.
