I would like to make my own races with their own ship designs and then play against them.  This is how I played Galactic Civ II and I enjoyed it very much.  As it is currently I have to mod the game to get it to work the way I want it to and I'm not going to mod the game to make it work properly.  Fix the game please.  The game has been on the marker for over a year and I'm shocked that I still can't create my ship designs for opponent races in Galactic Civ III because were able to do this is Galactic Civ II.  Oh, the ship designer is not accessible from the main menu.  The ship designer was accessible from the main menu in the old game.  Again, fix the game please.  

As it is now the game is worse than the old one.  Let us create our own race(s) and ship designs for them.  I don't want to download someone else's crap off the Metaverse.  That's not an answer.  I wan't to create all sorts of different ship designs from scratch, obsessing over every detail, then create a number of races, assign them ship styles and then go play space wars in my sandbox.  I could do this in II so why not in III?  Did Stardock forget how to make Galactic Civ games?  I don't understand.
