I want the AI to Stop turtling. I don't kill turtles, except to brad and fry them and that was only once.
I want to be able to globally disable auto-upgrade of improvements.
I want a colony map that's a sphere of hexes I can rotate with the middle mouse button. I don't want an old, rehashed Mercator projection from GC2.
I want my 3D world maps to slowly revolve as I view them.
I want there to see a light side and dark side as I view my worlds, with dark side art assets for my improvements that have twinkling lights.
I want pirates to pirate. I want them going after plunder and booty, not acting like rabid reavers from Serenity/ Firefly.
I want pirates to target trade lanes, pillage weak colonies, and grow stronger from their piracy.
Starting around the age of war, I want little civilian ships to begin spawning from my planets carrying this and that to here and there. I want to be able to see where they're from, where they're going, what they're packing, and what effect, if any, it'll have when it gets there. Supplies for a starbase? Immigrants? Consumer goods, medicines, grain? Fertilizers shipped from a manufacturing world giving a 10% boost to food production at the receiving planet.
I want these little civilian ships to freely trade with races you have open relations with (aka, an embassy after Brad gets his change enacted.)
I want pirates to prey on these ships.
I want flat tourism gone. It's silly. It's too much money for nothing.
I want tourism income to devolve from influence something like it did in GC2. If planets' influence determined their base tourism rates it could be perfect.
I want adjacency PENALTIES. "Welcome to Dysopia, where you can step right out of our fantastic port of call and take in the view of that most remarkable achievement of our civilization- the Death Furnaces. Tours will be at 11:00."
I want planet tiles with penalties.
I want more tiles with special traits ,generally, to make planet layouts more interesting. 45% to 60% on average having traits would seem right. I want this achieved for the most part, by adding single-tile traits with no adjacencies, traits with penalties only, ex: Badlands (name may already be taken +2 military, -2population/tourism/ wealth, adjacency -1 population/tourism/ wealth.
I want planets, asteroids, and all non-ship objects in star systems to orbit the star. I don't care how it breaks pathing, mining, or eco bases. I want the map I play GC3 on to look, feel, and act alive.
I want to be able to mod hull prerequisites to ship roles in my game. No Huge hulled interceptors here.
I want to be able to mod stat modifiers in connection with ship roles.
I want thrusters to do something worth using them in the game.
I want ships in the battle viewer to have some behaviors, choosable or not, besides "Bonzai!!!".
I want one of a kind starbases like UP headquarters and one-per-race starbases like Weapons Lab.
I want tech cost inflation. I want it to ignore, wholly or in part, techs known to discovered races.
I want Game pacing that is relevant past turn 50.
I want Starbases to battle in conjunction with rather than sequentially to fleets garrisoned with them.
Modded it to this:<BattleBehavior>
<InternalName>Starbase</InternalName>
<DisplayName>Starbase</DisplayName>
<Description>Tooltip_Support</Description>
<StartingPos>2500</StartingPos>
months ago, but I still don't know if 2500 brings a starbase to participate in combat with it's fleet. (don't play often and no feedback on the mod).
I want diplomatic interactions to be conducted by ship to ship or ship to planet hailing until an embassy is established.
I want occasional ship to ship conversations and a hail option to initiate them.
I want...
