Not a huge deal, but I don't care for the "new" tech tree layout and always switch to the "old" tech tree style layout, and it would be nice if the game remembered this setting and always kept me in this mode so I didn't have to change it every time I fired up the game.  It's hardly the end of the world but I know it's doable and it's the little things, the details, the showing of love for those of us that like the "old" tech tree that warms the heart.  Or something.

PS - I put this in as a bug rather than as a suggestions because IMO settings in games should persist, so I consider this more of a "programmatic oversight" (this is what I call my bugs/etc since "bug" sounds so ugly) than a feature request.
