Moving saved games around

I would like to play this game on both my personal and work laptops (not at same time).  Since cloud save is broken, how can this be accomplished?

Well, the save files end in ".GC3Sav" and are found in C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\My Games\GalCiv3\Saves

So as long as you copy the saves between that location on your personal and work computers, you can do it.

How you choose to do that is the fun part.  Dropbox, Seafile, Google Drive, Subversion, sneaker-net...

Ship designs are also in that same general area, but under the "Designs" folder.  I believe there are two files per ship design.

That makes sense. However that means that to move any saved game around is now more that a single save file. I wish someone at stardock could take a couple of minutes to illuminate.

Ship designs are kept in exterior files so that you can reuse them between games.  

You may want to just synchronize your entire GalCiv3 folder under MyDocs using a tool like Unison / SVN / etc.
